And prepping for the future ahead

January started BUSY. 

Recouping from the holidays is always a bit sluggish, but you gotta move quick when life demands it. We had to get back into the groove quicker than usual and the efforts of our hard work is already starting to show. 

Edits are practically done. 
Outlines and templates are ready to be used. 
And 2026 is looking bright!

In-between hard work and trying to keep our head focused, we have done so much baking together. We are deep into our sourdough era. What started as a reward for good grades has turned into a healthy part of our normal routine. There is always a new recipe to try and I am excited to play with all of them. 

The kid still has the record for best loaf though, because if you’ve met my kid, of course they do. Their natural instincts on baking is crazy. I don’t have that. I just have a little bit of luck and a lotta bit of Google.

I can’t wait for February. It is full of celebrations and my gut is telling me good things are ahead.
