The last version of Legacy Academy is live!

(And it’s the last one)

What do you think of when someone mentions a large print book?

Anything?

It is by far the least popular type of book, but, to me, that does not make it the least important.

I was diagnosed with diabetes in 2019, and a few short years later, I began working for a company that helps similar folks find the support they need.

The time I spent there was invaluable, and it still holds a special place in my heart.

Did you know that one common part of the body diabetes attacks is the eyes? It can, and frequently does, cause blindness.

Enter the idea of large print.

Not only did we follow basic large print guidelines, but we also followed most of the American Council of the Blind’s guidelines. It was incredibly important to make that this version be worthwhile to the specific community I had in mind.

My novel is only a drop in the bucket, but I hope that anyone living with visual impairments finds this book easy to read and most importantly feels supported. We certainly put a lot of thought into how we wanted it done. I hope we achieved our goal and did our readers proud.

That’s all for now. Until next time❤
